Ollerenshaw
Ollerenshaw is our Senior boys’ boarding house at St Leonards, and is typically home to our Sixth Form boys. It is sophisticated and stylish inside, featuring a modern palette and oil paintings by a local artist, as a nod to our wider community including the sandy beaches, rolling fields and colourful fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife.
The kitchen is very much the heart of this home, and is used for house meals during which boarders share recipes and traditions from around the world, as well as games nights and more. Outside, there’s a brilliant wood-fired pizza oven for relaxed weekend and evening treats, and there’s even an in-house gym to support the fitness and golfing goals of our young men.
Weekends are for go-karting, laser tag, cinema trips and beach walks. There are activities in house, and many of our boys choose to stay over on occasion with day friends nearby.
Ollerenshaw serves as the perfect preparation for university life and beyond. Led by a dedicated boarding team and Housemaster, there are skills workshops and more to ensure the boys who live there leave St Leonards fully equipped for their next chapter.
