The St Leonards Parents Association promotes community.

It provides opportunities for all parents, guardians, prospective parents and pupils to meet socially and raise funds for the school. The PA is separate from the School Council and the Junior School Advisory Board and all parents and guardians of St Leonards are automatically members.

The friendly and active PA runs social events, such as the Back-to-School Barbecue, The Great St Leonards Egg Hunt, Pumpkin Party and Summer Drinks and in doing so raises funds for ‘extras’ that the School has put on a Wish List.  These are items that enhance the everyday and complete the school experience for the boys and girls.  The PA has funded, for example, uniforms for St Leonards pipe band, head torches for the Running Club, equipment for St Leonards golf programme, a summertime marquee, portable flood lights for the sports pitches and additional recycling bins for the Eco Club..

PA volunteers compile any Informal Contact List, to make lift shares and party invitations much simpler and also run a popular New Family Link Programme, connecting existing families with those new to the school community.

The volunteers also run the highly popular Second Hand Uniform Shop and organise for the appointment of class social representatives throughout the school. Class social representatives organise coffee meetups, and the occasional night out!
