07.11.17 : Fife Schools Hockey Champions

St Leonards’ girls’ hockey teams have seen an impressive set of results since the start of the Autumn Term. The Senior girls squad (pictured) won the Fife Schools Hockey Tournament for the sixth year in a row, beating Madras 6-0, Bellbaxter 4-0, and drawing against Dunfermline High School 0-0 in the competition.

On Wednesday, 1 November, the Year 10 girls also became Fife Schools Hockey champions, scoring a fantastic 15 goals. St Leonards beat Dunfermline High School 4-0 with goals from Meghan, Brook and Sasha, won against Bellbaxter 6-0 with goals from Phoebe, Brook  and Meghan, and were victorious 5-0 against Madras College with goals from Meghan and Brook. A truly super result from our girls!

Other highlights so far this term have included the Year 8A victory at home against Dunfermline High School, with a convincing final score of 20-0, and the Year 8B team, who also won their fixture against Dunfermline 17-0, drew 3-3 against High School of Dundee.
